JOB DESCRIPTION
The Multiscale Physics of Clouds Across Planetary Atmospheres collaboration, funded by the Simons Foundation, is seeking 8 postdoctoral researchers to develop new approaches to understanding clouds across clouds across Solar System, exoplanet, and brown dwarf atmospheres.
The positions are based at 7 institutions internationally, with each researcher working on a distinct project within the broader collaboration. Projects span topics including cloud microphysics, atmospheric dynamics, radiative transfer, laboratory and experimental studies, observations, and computational modeling. We welcome applicants from Earth sciences, astronomy, planetary science, atmospheric science, and related fields.
Applicants will submit one application to the collaboration and may indicate their interest in multiple projects. Candidates will be evaluated across the collaboration and subsequently matched to positions based on scientific interests, qualifications, project fit, location/work authorization, and candidate preferences.
